Privacy & cookie policy

This policy covers echofarmer.com and its campaign & landing pages.

Effective date: 1 July 2026

Analytics and advertising cookies load only after your consent. If you consent, we collect only what we need to send you updates you asked for, understand how our pages perform, and run our ads. You can unsubscribe or change your cookie choices at any time, and you have full rights over your data (see §8).

In this document:

1. Who we are (controller)

The pages this policy covers are operated by the controller below. “We” / “us” means that controller.

The controller is Arne Nuyts, acting as the artist echofarmer (Rue Adolphe Lavallée 39, 1080 Bruxelles, Belgium)

THIS HERE NOW (loadstone VZW, enterprise no. BE 0652.848.305) runs the newsletter, analytics and advertising on the artist’s behalf as a processor.

For the Meta Pixel, the controller, loadstone VZW and Meta act as joint controllers for the collection of your data. (See §5).

Privacy contact: privacy@thisherenow.agency.

5. Who we share your data with

We share data only with service providers (processors) that help us run these activities, and with the controllers noted below. We may also disclose data where legally required.

Meta Pixel
Our pages use the Meta Pixel. The Meta Pixel is a piece of JavaScriptcode integrated into this website that tracks visitor actions, optimizes ad delivery, and builds custom audiences for Facebook and Instagram advertising. For the collection and transmission of your data to Meta, the controller, loadstone VZW and Meta are joint controllers under Art. 26 GDPR (Case C-40/17, Fashion ID): we obtain your consent and inform you via this policy; Meta then processes the data under its own terms and the Meta Controller Addendum. You can exercise your rights against any of us.

Custom audiences
Where you have consented, we may upload your email address to Meta in hashed (pseudonymised) form so it can be matched to your account — to show you our ads and build similar (“lookalike”) audiences. We never share your email in plain text, and you can object at any time by contacting privacy@thisherenow.agency.

6. International transfers

Our newsletter provider MailerLite is EU-based. Some other providers (e.g. Google, Meta, GitHub, Bandcamp, Bandsintown) may process data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Those transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards — the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We are currently working to move to EU-based providers where possible. Request detail via privacy@thisherenow.agency.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep data no longer than necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). Withdrawing marketing consent is as easy as clicking unsubscribe in any email or changing your Cookie settings. To exercise a right, contact privacy@thisherenow.agency. We respond within one month.

9. Children

Our pages are not directed at children under 13 (the age of digital consent in Belgium), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes & effective date

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be highlighted here. Effective date: 1 July 2026.
